A Journey from Nairobi to New Delhi
When healthcare, faith, and humanity come together, miracles happen.
On 13th February, I had the privilege of receiving Mr. James Muhia, a respected clergy member from Kenya, at Asian Hospital. At that moment, he was extremely weak and unable to walk. His journey ahead required courage, faith, and the best of medical care.
Our team immediately initiated detailed investigations, and after thorough evaluation, he was taken up for an Autologous Bone Marrow (Stem Cell) Transplant on 21st February, successfully performed by Dr Vibhor Sharma, one of India’s leading Bone Marrow Transplant specialists.
Today, by the grace of God and the dedication of the medical team, I am delighted to share that Mr. James Muhia has recovered well and has been discharged on 7th March 2026.
Just a few days ago, on 4th March, seeing him smiling, standing, and regaining his strength was a deeply emotional moment for all of us. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.
A special note of gratitude to Neha Mohan Arora, Head – International Business, whose compassionate care, constant support, and meticulous attention to patient needs ensured the highest level of comfort and satisfaction for Mr. James throughout his treatment journey. Her dedication truly reflects the spirit of patient-centered care.
At Panacea Medcare, our mission has always been clear — to connect international patients with world-class healthcare in India while ensuring compassionate care throughout their journey. For patients across Africa, access to advanced treatments such as Bone Marrow Transplant can truly be life-changing.
Seeing Mr. James return to health and prepare to go back to Kenya to continue his service and ministry is the greatest reward we could ask for.
We wish him continued strength, complete recovery, and many more years of serving his community.
Sometimes medicine heals the body, but faith heals the soul.
